CONSTRUCTION OF ROADS, DRAINS AND CULVERTS AT FOUR MILES BARTICA

The contract for this project was signed on September 13, 2004 by the Government of Guyana, Ministry of Housing and Water and the Contractor, B&J Civil Works for a sum of G$114,891,634. The scope of works for this project include the construction of approximately 2.5 miles of main and secondary roads. The original road-works design comprised of 11”laterite base course and a Double Bituminous Surface Treatment final layer. The initial road widths were 12 and 16 ft, however six of the 12 ft roads have been widened to 14 ft. T
